COVID-19 Update

March 23, 2020

Dear Prieb Property Management Neighbors,


The safety of our team members and residents are of utmost importance to us.  As a result of the recent outbreak of COVID-19 (Coronavirus), and after careful considerations, Prieb Property Management will be closing our office to the public to minimize potential health risks.


Please take note of the following and how this may impact you:

  • Rent payments are still due on the 1st of each month as your lease states. 
  • We are encouraging all tenants to pay rent online via Rent Café.  If you would still like to mail your payment, you are welcome to but we recommend checking the USPS website for updates to ensure the mail will be delivered.  If you would like to drop payment off at our office, you will need to place your check in an envelope with you address on it and place it in our night drop box on the OUTSIDE of our building.  
  • Any lease renewals or other documents needing signed or given to our office, we request this to all be done electronically.  
  • We will only be completing emergency maintenance requests at this time.  The following are considered:
    • Fire
    • No heat with outside temperatures below 55 degrees
    • No AC with outside temperatures above 80 degrees
    • Flood (any water issue that could cause significant property damage)
    • No hot water
    • No cold water
    • Overflowing toilet
    • Kitchen appliances not working (if it is an ice maker or water dispenser not working, this is not an emergency)
  • We ask that if you or a member of your household is sick or showing any symptoms and have an emergency maintenance request, please inform our office via email and our technician when they arrive.  
  • Our technicians will be wearing extra protective gear while they are in your home.  They may ask if anyone is sick. 
  • While technicians are in your home, we ask that anyone home abide by the 6-foot distance as recommended by the CDC.  We will not be able to enter a home with minor children without someone over the age of 18 present.
  • Please remember that all technicians are being encouraged to follow the CDC guidelines.  All communication with our team members should be via phone or email (the service department is only reachable via email).  
  • All non-emergency requests will be scheduled as we receive them but they will be placed on the schedule starting April 27th, this date could be pushed out depending on what happens in the following weeks.  You will receive an email with information about each request submitted.


Any updates to these protocols will be announced on our website and an email will be sent to all tenants.  Please check them regularly for additional information.
